Residential & House Moving

Full-home moves done by our own crews, from a Heights bungalow to a Katy five-bedroom

Moving a whole house is a different job than shifting a couple of rooms, and we staff it that way. A typical Houston home move means navigating a garage full of yard equipment, a master closet that somehow holds three closets’ worth of clothes, and a kitchen nobody wants to pack. Our crews have done thousands of these since 2013, and we send enough movers to get you done in a day, not dragged out over a weekend.

We bring the trucks, the blankets, the wardrobe boxes, and the muscle. Beds come apart and go back together, the fridge and washer get disconnected and wrapped, and the heavy stuff like sectionals and armoires moves on dollies and straps so nobody throws out a back and nothing scrapes your floors. We pad-wrap furniture before it leaves the house, not after it’s already on the truck.

Houston homes come with their own quirks, from second-floor game rooms in master-planned communities out in Cypress and Sugar Land to older pier-and-beam houses inside the Loop with narrow staircases. We plan for all of it, and we protect floors and door frames with runners and pads on the way out and the way in.

Homes we move every week

  • Single-family houses from two to five-plus bedrooms
  • Townhomes and patio homes with tight interior stairs
  • Master-planned community homes in Katy, Sugar Land, Spring, and The Woodlands
  • Older inner-Loop bungalows in The Heights and Montrose

If you’d rather not touch a single box, our full packing service can crate up the entire house the day before. Moving into an apartment or downsizing to a condo instead? See our apartment and condo moving page. Get your free quote and we’ll reply within one business hour.

Service FAQ

How many movers will you send for a house move?

It depends on the size of the home and how much you have, but we right-size the crew so the job finishes in a day. A three-bedroom typically gets three to four movers; larger homes get more so you're not paying for a slow move.

Do you disconnect appliances like the washer and fridge?

Yes, we disconnect and wrap standard washers, dryers, and refrigerators as part of the move. For gas lines or hardwired units we'll let you know up front if a licensed tech needs to handle the disconnect first.

How do you protect my floors and walls?

We lay floor runners on hardwood and tile, pad door frames and stair rails, and shrink-wrap upholstered pieces. Protecting the house is part of the job, not an add-on.

Can you handle a two-story home with a narrow staircase?

Absolutely. Tight stairs in older Heights and Montrose homes are routine for us. Our crews know how to maneuver large furniture through them safely, and when a piece won't fit the stairs, we have the gear to work it through other openings.

What happens if a storm is forecast on my move day?

Houston weather changes fast, especially in storm season. We monitor the forecast, wrap items to keep them dry, and if a genuine safety issue comes up we'll work with you to adjust the timing rather than push through dangerous conditions.
